Operational FAQ
Technical documentation regarding Torzon Market security protocols, payment infrastructure, vendor compliance, and order management systems.
Access & Connectivity
Torzon Market Links operates as a dedicated registry for the Torzon hidden service. We provide cryptographically verified V3 onion mirrors to ensure stable connection to the marketplace. Our primary objective is to maintain an uptime-verified list of access points, allowing users to bypass network congestion and connect directly to the market infrastructure.
V3 Onion links are 56-character addresses generated using ed25519 cryptography. Unlike surface web domains, these addresses are self-authenticating, meaning the address itself contains the public key necessary to encrypt connections to the hidden service. This eliminates the need for Certificate Authorities (CAs) and provides end-to-end encryption by default through the Tor network circuit.
Verification is a cryptographic process. Users should verify the PGP signature located on the market's login page against the market's official public key. A valid signature confirms that the server response was generated by the holder of the private key. Torzon Market Links lists only mirrors that have passed this validation check.
Security Protocols
- Browser: Official Tor Browser (desktop only).
- Security Level: 'Safest' (JavaScript disabled).
- OS: Tails OS or Whonix is recommended for isolation.
- Communication: PGP encryption for all sensitive data (shipping addresses, transaction details).
- Authentication: 2FA enabled on all accounts.
The platform operates with a strict data retention policy. Transaction logs are retained only for the duration of the escrow period plus a dispute window (typically 30 days maximum). After this period, all logs are scrubbed from the database. Messages are encrypted with the recipient's PGP key where applicable.
While the Tor network can be accessed via Android, mobile operating systems possess inherent telemetry and security vulnerabilities that compromise anonymity. For optimal Operational Security (OpSec), access should be restricted to desktop environments running hardened operating systems.
Financial Infrastructure
Monero (XMR): The preferred currency for all transactions. Monero utilizes ring signatures and stealth addresses to completely obfuscate the sender, receiver, and transaction amount on the blockchain.
Bitcoin (BTC): Accepted for convenience. Requires 1 confirmation. Users are advised to mix coins before deposit to break blockchain analysis links.
Upon order placement, funds are transferred to a holding wallet controlled by the market's automated escrow service. The funds remain locked until one of three conditions is met:
- The buyer manually finalizes the order after receipt.
- The auto-finalize timer (14 days) expires.
- A dispute is resolved by a moderator.
Direct Pay generates a unique invoice address for a single order. This is the most secure method as it prevents funds from sitting in a custodial wallet. Wallet Balance allows users to deposit a lump sum for multiple purchases, offering convenience and instant checkout speeds but carrying custodial risk.
Vendor & Order Management
Prospective vendors must pay a non-refundable bond of $300 USD (payable in BTC or XMR). This bond serves as a deterrent against fraudulent actors. Vendors must also maintain a valid PGP key and adhere to the prohibited items list (e.g., no weaponry, no Fentanyl). The market commission rate is fixed at 4% per transaction.
If an order is not received or is materially different from the description, the buyer must open a dispute within the 14-day escrow window. This freezes the auto-finalize timer. A chat session is opened between buyer and vendor. If no resolution is reached, a moderator reviews shipping evidence and chat logs to render a final decision regarding fund allocation.
The Auto-Finalize timer is a safety mechanism that releases funds to the vendor if the buyer becomes unresponsive. The default duration is 14 days. Buyers can request timer extensions if shipping is delayed. Basic accounts receive 2 extensions; Premium accounts receive 3. Once funds are finalized, they cannot be recovered.
System & Network
Onion networks are susceptible to congestion and DDoS attacks. We utilize a Link Rotator system to cycle through healthy mirrors. If the primary link (dv4ozfq4533foeo6ux2jq5jrimfpq7iyvhc23xjqhomidesnmjysyfqd.onion) is unresponsive, users should consult the verified mirrors list on our Links page.
Support tickets regarding orders are handled internally within the market platform. Users must log in and navigate to the 'Support' tab. For general connectivity inquiries or to report dead mirrors on this directory, use the contact form on this site.
